Client
Element Plumbing is a family-owned and operated commercial and residential plumbing company out of Chandler, AZ. The owners also have a combined expertise of 20+ years in their industry, making Element a small but formidable competitor to other plumbing companies.
Goals
I first met Jen Nielson, Element’s account manager, at a networking lunch. We immediately hit it off and I soon discovered she was in need of a new logo and business cards.
Their former logo was dated and didn’t really tell anyone what it was that they did, and Jen was not happy with it. She had been hesitant to invest in a new logo because she was afraid of ending up with something cliché or cheesy, but once she saw my work she was ready to move forward.
During our initial consultation, she told me that their business was ready to step it up and grow into something bigger and more professional. I also learned it was important that the new logo convey honesty, integrity, experience, and cleanliness.
After several concept explorations, we decided on the symbolic Phoenix/water element. I really wanted to play with the idea of the elements, and the dual Phoenix bird coming out of the fire, juxtaposed with water, was a slam dunk.
Recently I worked with Sheila on an updated logo for my company. I was so impressed with how thorough she was about getting to know me, what our company stood for, and what direction we wanted to go in. Sheila has a creative mind mixed with good business. I love the design she came up with and how patient she was during the change process. She made sure we were satisfied with our logo. Sheila was a great choice for us when it came to finding someone who could come up with the vision we had for our company and how to implement it through design.
