Client
Based in the Seattle area, Kira Love Counseling’s purpose is to help individuals and couples move from feeling stuck in damaging relational patterns through therapy in order to promote a more functional and fulfilling life. She does this by being calmly present for her clients, and providing empathy while gently guiding them towards healing.
Goals
Kira Flores, the owner and therapist of Kira Love Counseling, was displeased with her current branding and website. She initially had been using Yahoo’s free templates, and quickly realized the limitations of what they could do.
While still relatively new to being a fulltime therapist, Kira was ready to take the plunge and invest in a more professional image. She communicated that she seemed to be attracting more and more low quality clients who would often cancel on her, or couldn’t even afford her rates. She felt that a well designed logo and website would better convey her quality of work.
Kira wanted her new logo and supporting materials to capture the essence of her practice: warm, soothing, inviting, empathetic, connection, authentic, and direct. After exploring several options, we came to the conclusion that the unique heart shape of two people embracing perfectly fit her business, and her name.
Since her whole practice is devoted to bettering people’s relationships with one another, the two figurines coming together was apt. She also appreciated the not-so-subtle nod to her name, Kira Love. Together we selected a soft, neutral color palette which also captured the feel of her office and decorations.
The business card design carries this tone, and also doubles as an appointment reminder card which can be written on. Her new website is also simple, clean, and easy to navigate and use.
Sheila had my back in so many ways throughout the process and not only helped me achieve better internal clarity of my marketing identity, but she also truly caught my vision of my private practice. Ever since she redid my logo and website, I’ve been getting numerous compliments from new and current clients! Prospectives have all mentioned that from every other therapist they have considered, it was my practice that stood out to them and seemed more professional. Already I can see that rebranding with Sheila is not only working, it’s working amazingly well!
