Phoenix Seminary, like all medium-to-large businesses, needed regular design work done for their various campaigns. I assisted them with some of their more noteworthy projects over the years.

Phoenix Seminary is a nationally-recognized, evangelical inter/multi-denominational accredited graduate theological seminary in Phoenix, Arizona. Founded in 1988, it is the only graduate theological Seminary headquartered in Arizona.
From a slight tweak to their current logo to full-fledged catalog and postcard design, Phoenix Seminary kept me busy. I oversaw the rebranding of their logo, which including changing the colors from gold and purple to a more serious ox blood red, black, and gray. We also made typographic changes and altered the negative space of the design.
I led the creative direction and design of several major catalogs, including their 200-page student handbook, student look book, and investment portfolio (winner of 2013’s PiAZ/NM gold award). We also did several trifold brochures, direct mail, and various full page advertisements which appeared in Christianity Today and Leadership Journal.
Finally, I helped them redesign their website and coordinated with their web developer to create a site that reflected their new branding.
Sheila from Apex is not only one of the most creative designers I have worked with, she is also the fastest. Her turn-around time from start to finish is remarkable. She is skilled at working closely with a customer to ascertain what the intention and demographic is for the end user, and follows through with market research in order to provide the most effective product for each project. I found her open to suggestion, intent on meeting our particular needs, while giving informed, valuable feedback. Sheila does not disappoint—it is always a pleasure to work on a project with her.Patti S.VP of marketing, Phoenix Seminary
