Rick Hill is an independent Real Estate agent working under Berkshire Hathaway (formally Prudential). He has the distinction of being one of the most accomplished and successful agents in the Phoenix-Scottsdale residential area. Since 2008, Rick has ranked in the top 1% of residential real estate agents at Prudential Arizona Properties for sales volume. His commitment to his clients, as well as his honesty and approachability, are what define his career.
Rick needed a logo to identify and set himself apart from his competitors. He wanted something that was simple, classy, and sophisticated, to appeal to a wide range of buyers. It was important to him that his new identity not be too frilly or feminine, yet appeal to both men and women.
During our consultation, he expressed interest in taking his business to the next level—and realized it was time to invest in professional graphic design in order to do so. I also discovered that, although he focused more on high-end markets, he didn’t want his brand to appear overly opulent. At the same time, he didn’t want to be seen as too informal either. Riding that line between the two was challenging, but the resulting wordmark is exactly what he was looking for: clean, simple, and refined.
We finished up his identity with new business cards utilizing his new color palette; the colors and typography are modern, luxurious, and approachable. They also compliment the primary Berkshire Hathaway colors nicely, which was also important. Finally, I designed a two-page spread advertisement along with a single full-page version to announce his new look, as well as his offerings.
It was amazing working with Sheila from Apex Creative! She is extremely creative, professional, and most importantly, focused on making me and my brand look fabulous. My logo looks better than most Fortune 500 companies, I love it!
