Suntel Communications Services Inc., otherwise known as Suntel, is a utility contractor for third party communications. They wanted help with their new logo design, business cards, identity, brochure, flyer, and website.

As a local, family-owned and operated company that has been around for over 40 years, Suntel Construction, Inc. has built a strong reputation as one of the best underground utility construction and cabling firms in Arizona. Their team provides the highest quality work with the best pricing, availability, and service. They are licensed in Arizona, California, Nevada, New Mexico, and Oregon.

Goals

Emily Carrozzi, the vice president of Suntel, contacted me in need of some basic branding. Even though her company had been in business for decades, they had never gotten around to having a professional logo designed.

During our discussion, it became clear that Suntel needed much more than a logo: they needed business cards, letterhead, trifolds, flyers, and a website too. Emily told me it was important that their new branding convey strength, since it’s construction, but also that their new logo not be cheesy or cartoony.

She wanted to communicate that her company was a strong business that was dependable, efficient, and professional.

We settled on a simple typemark for their final logo, an interlocking of the “s” set in an industrial font. I selected warm, primary colors which are both corporate yet approachable. For the rest of their collateral, I designed business cards and accompanying identity which illustrate the type of work they do in beautiful, bold, colorful imagery and macro photography.

We are currently in the process of finishing up their website, which will feature more information about the company, current and past projects, and an employee portal.
